Join us during the week of October 10th to 17th, 2024, as we sweat for clean drinking water! During this time, Synpulse employees, together with Synpulse, will raise donations for clean drinking water at a school in Uganda. Our goal? To get moving through various activities and support this vital project. There are no limits to what you can do!
Examples of Activities:

Feel free to take part in your favorite sports or come up with your own activities and combine them with fundraising efforts. From Thursday to Thursday, all employees are encouraged to track their activities independently.
Throughout the week, Synpulse will also organize various sports activities for you to join.
For every minute of exercise, you’ll donate an amount of your choice to Viva con Agua!
Our collective goal during Sports4Water Week is to raise at least 2,500 CHF for clean drinking water. This will allow us to build handwashing stations at a Ugandan school for 400 children. However, if we manage to generate 5000 CHF we can additionally provide a Watertank for this school. If we reach to 7500 CHF we can additionally provide:
On Thursday, October 17th, we’ll wrap up with a thrilling group event after work – the Sports4Water – Synpulse Fun & Run Challenge, led by Viva con Agua team members and founders of Sports4Water, Armin Tuhcic and his colleague Janis.
This company-tailored event is a fun run where you’ll chase after Armin while tackling a series of exciting challenges along the way. Be prepared for things to get messy and wet! The event will last 60-90 minutes.
Armin will also introduce a special fundraising concept for this day, explained in a motivating video where he will present the Action Week, the final event, and encourage everyone to join in.
This is a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself physically while contributing to a cause that matters. Together, we can help ensure clean water for a school in Uganda and have fun along the way. Let’s get moving for change!

Water projects in Uganda
The aim of this project is to improve access to clean drinking water, sanitary facilities and hygiene workshops at 20 schools in Uganda effectively and over the long term. The project will benefit a total of 16,000 schoolchildren aged 8-18 as well as their teachers, caretakers and local service providers.
Viva con Agua specifically focuses on project work in schools, as the children act as agents of change who transfer the improved practices they have learnt to their households and communities and thus raise awareness of the issue in their private environment.
The ‘Football4WASH’ sensitisation approach specially designed by Viva con Agua Uganda raises children’s awareness of the issues of water and hygiene in a fun and sustainable way.
The following examples serve to give an impression of what can be achieved in Uganda in the period from 2023 to 2025, both with small amounts and with larger volumes within the overall project:
